Bio: I was born and grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and attended the Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies. I've been swimming since age 6 or so for various competitive teams in Virginia and the varsity team here at MIT. In my spare time, I play guitar, watch old sci-fi movies, read anything I can get my hands on, and dabble in a competitive Team Fortress 2 league. I'm specializing in plasma dynamics at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center's Alcator C-Mod tokamak. I plan to continue graduate study in either physics or nuclear engineering in that vein.
