Interests: I love being outdoors and being active. A few of my favorite activities are whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, and mountain biking. I play basketball, soccer, and most other sports. I love traveling and exploring, experiencing other countries and other cultures. I've also been interested in business and entrepreneurship

Bio: I grew up in a suburb outside of Sacramento with my two sisters and brother. I went to Mira Loma High School where I got interested in engineering and the sciences and entered numerous science competitions ( ISEF, Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, Siemens, Intel STS, …). I felt MIT was the right place for me. I'm involved in numerous organizations here at MIT, including AITI and GSW and have traveled to China, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Iceland through MIT.
